My birth planning services allow you to pick the mind of an experienced doula, certified Lamaze teacher, and mom of ten children. I can help you find the right doctor or midwife for your birth expectations, educate you about labor options, help you write a birth plan and tell you how to achieve a natural birth (and no, there isn't just one way to do it!). I can tell you what books to read, what baby things to buy (after ten babies I know what you REALLY need), what exercises really help, and what to expect out of labor. Want to know how to avoid a c section? I will tell you! As a doula, I know what hospitals have natural childbirth friendly practices and I know who has the lowest c section rate. I know massage therapists that can induce labor and chiropractors that can get breech babies to turn all on their own. Considering a home birth? Want to take private childbirth classes in your own home? I know educators who come to your home on your schedule! I will connect you with the right people!

One hour phone consultation---your chance to ask everything you always wanted to know. Referrals to the best doctors, midwives and childbirth services in the Atlanta area. Find out how to get the birth you want, which hospitals and providers have the lowest c section rate, s and how you can have your insurance pay for a water birth. Birth Planner Package----Two hour consultation in person with unlimited email contact through your whole pregnancy. Availability by phone when in labor. Handouts on important pregnancy topics and full support. Help with writing birth plan and review of birth plan. Includes education about baby wearing and breastfeeding.--------------$150.00
Birth Planner Ultimate Package---Three hour consultation includes all of the above and also teaching your partner doula secrets like the double hip squeeze(known to significantly reduce pain), rebozo techniques, and how to do counterpressure, foot massage and hand massage for labor. I come to your home for this three hour visit. ------$250
If you decide through the course of your package that you would like to hire me for hands on labor support I will apply your already paid fee towards the total doula fee of $600.
